Nogales is part of a three-farm project — Los Nogales, Finca Nahui, and Finca
Neblina — specializing in exotic coffee varieties. Inspired by their learning journey in
Panama, they adopted advanced drying techniques with precise temperature and
humidity control. Their philosophy blends terroir, genetics, and science, classifying
coffees into three categories: Grand Reserve, Equilibrium, and Alchemy.
Soil and cup quality are enhanced through a balanced fertilization strategy using
microorganisms and minerals.
Oscar Fernando Hernández, born in the Laboyos Valley, studied environmental
management before serving in the Navy. After his father’s passing, he transformed Los
Nogales into a center for coffee innovation, merging technology with sustainability.
His mission is to improve production, create dignified employment, and promote
responsible practices — making Los Nogales a benchmark in Colombia’s coffee
industry.
